چکیده

Intracytoplasmic sperm injection is more being used for non-male factor indications, although it was developed overcoming infertility of males because pregnancy rate in vitro fertilization still < 40%. This work aims at evaluating the injecting cycle fertilization/ efficiency infertile women and factors that predicting clinical rate. Al-Nahrain University High Institute Infertility Diagnosis Assisted Reproductive Technologies, we conducted a randomized trial from 1st Sep. 2018 to 2020. 40 complaining underwent IVF / ICSI protocols were sampled this work. Positive serum βhCG test evaluate r, two weeks following transferring embryo. In study, 12 got pregnant with 30%. Duration stimulation, number mature eggs, fertilized grade I transferred embryo, changes percentages endometrial zone day pickup comparison hCG significantly higher (P 0.05) than those who not pregnant. Failure high most important associated failure IVF/ICSI outcome short duration gonadotropin few eggs embryos, suboptimal receptivity. Keywords: IVF, ICSI, infertility, rate, predictors, Iraq.

Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection – Factors Affecting Fertilization

The ICSI has become method of choice to achieve fertilization. Fertilization is possible in cases in which the sperm motility and ability to penetrate the zona pellucida are impaired. Injection is possible with sperm obtained from ejaculation, microsurgical epididymal sperm aspiration (MESA), percutaneous epididymal sperm aspiration (PESA), or testicular sperm extraction (TESE). In addition, in...

In vitro fertilization by intracytoplasmic sperm injection.

Intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI) is the latest, and by far the most efficient, variant of micromanipulation-assisted fertilization, whereby a single spermatozoon is selected, aspirated into a microinjection needle and injected to the oocyte cytoplasm. The development of this technique is mainly linked to application in human assisted reproduction for which it enables fertilization with d...
